A man in his 70s remains in a critical condition this morning following a serious traffic accident in north Norfolk.
Last night (Thursday) at about 5pm, a white mini cooper travelling towards Sheringham and a pedestrian were in collision on the A148 Cromer Road at High Kelling, opposite the post office.
The man sustained life threatening injuries and was taken to Addenbrooke's hospital where he remains in a critical condition this morning.
The road was closed for about four hours.
Police would like to speak to anyone who may have seen the actions of the pedestrian or the driving of the vehicle described, prior to the collision.
Any information should be reported to PC Hardingham at Norfolk and Suffolk Roads Policing on 101.
