Fire crews were called to reports of a man falling in the river near the city's Riverside complex this evening.
Appliances from North Walsham, Great Yarmouth and rescue boats from Great Yarmouth and an urban search and rescue unit (USAR) were called to reports of a man having fallen in the river at just before 6.20pm today. However the man had got out before the arrival of the brigade and crews carried out casualty care at the scene.
