A man in his 30s died after his car collided with a lamppost.
Police are appealing for witnessses to the accident, which happened in the early hours of Sunday on the A47 near King's Lynn.
They say the man's silver MG was heading towards Wisbech when it left the road, near the Tilney All Saints roundabout, at 5am.
The driver, who was described as a local man in his early 30s, was pronounced dead at the scene. An 18-year-old passenger in the car received minor injuries.
