Police confirmed that a 27-year-old man died after being hit by a bus as he walked along the A146 at Gillingham this morning. The man, who was staying locally, died at the scene following the accident which happened shortly before 1am.
Police confirmed that a 27-year-old man died after being hit by a bus as he walked along the A146 at Gillingham this morning.
The man, who was staying locally, died at the scene following the accident which happened shortly before 1am.
Sergeant Simon Atherton, of Norfolk police, said: “I am appealing to anyone who may have seen the man walking along the A146 from the Beccles direction towards Gillingham at around the time of this incident to contact us.”
