A man has been charged with a drugs offence following the death of a 34-year-old man in Lowestoft on Thursday.

Glyn Jones, 32, of St John's Road, Lowestoft, is due to appear at Ipswich Magistrates' Court today (Saturday) after he was charged with supplying a class B controlled drug, namely Dihydrocodeine

The 34-year-old man, who has not been named, was found after police were called to an address in St John's Road at 11.10am on Thursday and, despite efforts by ambulance crews to revive him, he was pronounced dead at the scene.

A Suffolk police spokesman said a post-mortem examination was carried out yesterday and further tests, including toxicology, would be required to determined the cause of death.
