A 50-year-old man has been charged in connection with a fatal crash in Bungay last year.
The incident occurred at around 1.40am on Friday, May 13 2016 in Bridge Street, where 42-year-old pedestrian Shane Lay was involved in a collision with a Nissan Qashqai which failed to stop.
Mr Lay was taken to Addenbrooke's Hospital for treatment, but died the following day.
Andrew Saunders, of Swan Close, Halesworth, appeared at Norwich Magistrates' Court today (September 28) and was charged with causing death by dangerous driving.
The case has now been sent to Ipswich Crown Court, where Mr Saunders is due to appear on Thursday, October 26.
