A man was attacked and robbed in a Great Yarmouth alleyway on Friday evening.

Police are appealing for witnesses, after the attack in Sackville Close, which happened between 6.30pm and 7.30pm on November 5.

The victim, a man in his 50s, was approached by another man and asked if he was okay.

He replied 'yes, before being punched in the face, knocking him to the ground. The attacker then rifled through his pockets, stealing his phone and some cash.

The suspect is described as white, with blond hair and had a white bicycle with him.
