Police are searching for witnesses to an incident where a man was assaulted with a sharp object after leaving a night club in Great Yarmouth.
The man, who is in his late twenties, was approached from behind on Marine Parade by a group of men who attacked him with what was believed to be a broken bottle.
The victim suffered deep cuts to the head and lost a large amount of blood.
DC Riki Chase, Great Yarmouth CID, would like to hear from anyone who witnessed the incident, which happened between 4 am and 4.25 am on Saturday July 9.
