A 37-YEAR-OLD man has been arrested by police after officers raided a house in Lowestoft and 50 cannabis plants were found.
Police 'executed a warrant' at an address in Adrian Road yesterday morning (Thursday, December 2), and found cannabis plants growing in the loft.
'Officers went to the house around 9.30am and searched the property,' a police spokesman said. 'Around 50 plants and growing equipment were found in the loft, bags of skunk cannabis were also seized.'
The 37-year-old man was arrested at the scene on suspicion of production of cannabis and taken into custody at Lowestoft police station. He was also arrested on suspicion of being concerned in the supply of the drug.
He has now been bailed to return to Lowestoft police station on January 26, 2011, pending further enquiries.
