A high profile radio presenter who grew up in Lowestoft is causing a stir after he befriended a fox that visits his home in London.
Zeb Soanes, a Radio 4 newsreader and who reads out the Shipping Forecast, has featured in the national media after he started to Tweet and Facebook about a fox he has called Gaspard.
The animal has been described as the handsomest fox in the capital and Mr Soanes, who lives in north London, has known him since he was a cub.
It is believed Mr Soanes, 40 and who went to what is now called Ormiston Denes Academy in Lowestoft, created a Twitter account for the animal @GaspardTheFox.
The Mail on Sunday said neighbours of Mr Soanes have complained about his befriending of Gaspard, who the broadcaster feeds by hand.
It went on to say he said he was on good terms with his neighbours and he would no longer feed the fox as it had recovered from a leg injury.
