A 34-year-old Lowestoft man has been jailed for two years and eight months after pleading guilty to a home burglary and two counts of theft.
John Goffin, of Belvedere Road, appeared at Ipswich Crown Court last Thursday, 30 June, where he pleaded guilty to three charges, including breaking into a home in Salisbury Road in Lowestoft with intent to steal on May 19.
He was also charged with stealing a £300 pedal cycle from Salisbury Road on the same day, and with stealing bottles of lager, four steaks and a pack of spare ribs from a supermarket on London Road South the day before, May 18.
Goffin was sentenced after pleading guilty and was jailed for two years and eight months.
