A 42-year-old man has been charged with burglary after an incident at the home of a woman in her 80s in Southwell Road, Lowestoft.
The burglary happened about 7pm to 7.30pm on Tuesday evening (April 3). A purse, jewellery and mobile phones were stolen in the incident.
Lee Streeter, 42, of Surrey Street in Lowestoft, has now been charged with the burglary and is being held in custody pending an appearance at Ipswich Magistrates Court tomorrow (Saturday, April 7).
A 23-year-old woman also arrested in connection with the burglary has now been bailed to return to police on May 9.
