The Lowestoft RNLI Lifeboat has been called out this morning (Monday) following reports of a fire aboard a boat.
The volunteer crew of the town's all-weather Spirit of Lowestoft Lifeboat were called out at 8.12am, and a spokesman for the lifeboat said: 'The lifeboat has been called out following a report of a fire in the engine room of a boat.'
The latest call-out comes just six days after three men were rescued when a 15m vessel, called the ECC Topaz, caught fire in the North Sea last Tuesday.
