This striking image of last week's storm has secured the Lowestoft Journal's Picture of the Week.
Photographer Ryan Sharman, from Lowestoft, took the stunning shot last Thursday during "the mega storm" on his Canon 6D Mark 2.
Mr Sharman said: "I saw that there was thunder and lightning forecast, so I headed out way earlier than it was due, first capturing some sunset shots, then I looked towards Kessingland and I could see the storm was on its way.
"This is the first time I have ever taken any pictures of a storm, I have been patiently waiting for months and months for just an opportunity," he said.
