Firefighters from Lowestoft were kept busy with two blazes in quick succession last night (Saturday).
Crews from Lowestoft quickly tackled a bin fire in Carlton Colville and then a blaze in the open in Kirkley.
About 7.20pm last night, a crew from Lowestoft were called out following reports of a bin fire in Hall Road, Carlton Colville. The blaze was quickly dealt with and was under control by 7.32pm.
Then at 7.48pm, following reports of a 'fire in the open' in Beaconsfield Road, a crew from Lowestoft had got the blaze under control within eight minutes and the scene was cleared by 8pm.
