Five friends wearing animal-themed fancy dress are cycling 30 miles from one animal sanctuary to another to raise money.

Organiser Bex Cross, Amber Donovàn, Hannah Nelson, Lizzie Neale and Rosie Eldridge will set off from Hillside animal sanctuary in Frettenham at about 1pm on Sunday, September 17 and cycle to the Hillside animal sanctuary at West Runton, avoiding the A140 and hoping to arrive by 4.30pm.

Miss Cross said: 'My foster dog, Ro inspired the event. Hillside paid for the operation he needs on his legs.

'I have also volunteered at Hillside animal sanctuary. I have seen the amazing work they do for animals and without their support animals like Ro would not get the help they need. We want people to join in the fun and look out for us on the ride on Sunday.'

They have already raised £135 of their £250 target. To support them, visit Www.everyclick.com.com/cycleforanimals
