Today nine college and school pupils began their work as Members of Youth Parliament.
Broadland MYP is Annie Baldwin, 14, from Acle High School.
Manifesto: 'One point I feel strongly about is that a service that works in the same way as Connexions is put in place to support young people. It could be through schools or through youth clubs, but a service that can guide young people in various subjects from further education to health is very important to me.
'Secondly, I would love to support campaigns against an increase in post-16 transport fees. If post-16 education is going to be compulsory in a few years time, I do not understand how huge fees can be placed upon families to get their child to school.'
