Plans for a major new housing development in North Walsham moved a step closer this week.
Bilfinger GVA, acting on behalf of Manchester-based developers MLN (Land and Properties) Ltd, wants to build 200 homes - including 40 for social rent - on land between Aylsham Road and Greens Road.
It has lodged an application for outline planning consent for the residential development with North Norfolk District Council, which is expected to consider it in the coming weeks.
Town councillors were previously told the scheme was part of a larger 320 homes development which could see the town's football club moved to a new site.
