After the outcry from North Norfolk residents, the district council has stepped in to deal with the shortage of garden waste bins in the area.
The council have been working with their contractors Kier to contact hundreds of people who had asked for a garden recycling bin, but haven't received one.
The council and Kier have now got in contact with over 300 people on the waiting list, with wheelie bins expected to be arriving at homes hopefully in the next two to three weeks.
Councillor Annie Claussen-Reynolds, Cabinet Member for the Environment said: 'We have been working with Kier to make contact with as many people as possible on the waiting list. Out of the 364 people contacted so far 320 have taken up the offer of the garden bins.
'There are a number of customers who haven't answered when we have called, so some calls are being undertaken in the evening when people may be at home and we will write to anyone who we cannot contact by phone.'
