Work is set to start on resurfacing one of the busiest roads in Cromer.
And Norfolk County Council is warning motorists to expect delays.
The local authority confirmed a stretch of the A149 Holt Road, from the Beach Road roundabout and entrance to the railway station, is affected.
The work will start on Sunday, October 9, at 5pm and, it is hoped, will be completed overnight.
Traffic will be controlled using temporary three-way traffic control.
The work, which will cost £26,000, will be carried out by Norfolk County Council's Community & Environmental Services Department and their contractors.
A spokesperson for Norfolk County Council said: 'Access for any residents within the limits of the works will be maintained but it is inevitable that there will be some disruption.
'The County Council apologises for any inconvenience this may cause.'
