A former Holt Town Council chairman has been voted back on as a councillor in a by-election.
Michael Hill, from Lees Yard, off Bull Street, won yesterday's election with 294 votes.
The other candidate Wendy Gray, from Norwich Road, received 186 votes.
The turnout for the election was 15.7pc.
It was held after the resignation of Barrie Roberts, who recently died.
