South Norfolk's Lib Dem candidate said she is 'absolutely furious' that a mistake by a printing firm means some of her election addresses will not be delivered before the polls close today.
Jacky Howe had designed her leaflet, which Royal Mail post for free to every household in a candidate's constituency, in time for it to be received by voters around the time registration closed on April 20.
But according to Mrs Howe they were not delivered because the printing firm which produced the leaflets had not correctly sorted them in accordance with Royal Mail's guidelines.
As a result her first election address only began hitting people's door mats this week, and she has received emails from angry residents threatening to withdraw their support because it appears she has not been running a proper campaign.
She said the party was now considering whether to take any action against the company, which she declined to name.
'I am absolutely furious. I just feel very regretful that we have done all the right things. We have fulfilled everything we have been asked to do and here we are without what is considered to be the most effective way to communicate with the electorate,' she said.
