One Norfolk election count has been heavily criticised after it took almost 12 hours to declare two MPs.
Broadland District Council is responsible for counting and declaring Norwich North and Broadland seats at the Royal Norfolk Showground.
But the authority has come under fire after being one of the last places to announce the winners in the region.
Broadland MP Keith Simpson called the wait 'unacceptable' and has demanded council bosses look at making changes to their system.
He said the count had become a 'laughing stock' as even more rural areas were completed before Broadland.
Acting returning officer Phil Kirby explained that the delay was due to the volume of ballot box and postal votes and said: 'It will take as long as it takes to get it right.''
Polling closed at 10pm, but counting didn't start for Norwich North until the early hours.
Chloe Smith was announced the Norwich North winner around 8am and Mr Simpson around 9.30am.
Broadland said they will be reviewing how the count is organised in the future.
