As Richard Bacon, the South Norfolk Conservative MP, celebrated his 20,493 majority win yesterday, he had already turned his thoughts to his plans for the next five years.
Mr Bacon (pictured) said: 'My first priority is to sort the situation of the poor broadband in the area. It is essential for the South Norfolk economy and residents that this is improved. Having good broadband is just as important as having good road infrastructure.'
Another priority was to focus on housing in the region. He plans to make it easier for people to fully design their own new-build houses and self-build.
He said the Long Stratton bypass would only be achieved with the linked plans for 1,800 homes.
