The views of Norfolk's MPs in the EU referendum differed sharply from the views of their constituents.
Using polling data from the June 23 vote last year, Dr Chris Hanretty from the University of East Anglia produced an estimate of which constituencies voted Remain and which were Leave.
We have then compared that data with which side of the debate MPs campaigned for during the EU referendum.
The MP with the biggest difference between how they voted and how their constituents voted was Brandon Lewis in Great Yarmouth.
The Conservative MP supported his party's 'In' campaign and before the referendum he said that Britain's partnership with the EU was 'hugely important to the local economy and our national interest too'.
But Yarmouth was the area with the fifth strongest support for Leave in the country, with 71pc opting for Brexit.
The MP with the second biggest difference between how they campaigned and how their constituents voted was Elizabeth Truss in South West Norfolk.
According to Dr Hanretty's estimates, 66pc of her constituents in the Conservative safe seat voted to Leave.
But she campaigned for Remain, arguing it was in Britain's economic interest to stay in the EU.
Similarly, Peter Aldous in Waveney campaigned for Remain, but 63pc of those who voted in Waveney went the other way.
Just four MPs in the region voted the same way as the majority of their constituents.
They were Richard Bacon in South Norfolk (Leave 51pc), Clive Lewis in Norwich South (Remain 60pc), Stephen Barclay in North East Cambridgeshire (Leave 69pc) and Henry Bellingham in North West Norfolk (Leave 66pc).
