Lightning strikes Norfolk electricity poles


Lightning has struck a number of electricity poles as storms sweep through the county.

Firefighters from Dereham were called to Elsing Lane, Bawdeswell, at about 12.20pm this afternoon where a telegraph pole was on fire.

The crew provided services on scene.

Elsewhere, a fire engine from East Harling was set to Larling at about 11.20am where another electricity pole was in flames. The crew assisted the electricity board.
