The resort's temporary beach-launched lifeboat put to sea at just before 3am after a call from the Moon Stone, whose skipper and two crew were struggling with a combination of broken rigging, fatigue and failure to make progress in lumpy sea with the tide running against them.

The resort's temporary beach-launched lifeboat put to sea at just before 3am after a call from the Moon Stone, whose skipper and two crew were struggling with a combination of broken rigging, fatigue and failure to make progress in lumpy sea with the tide running against them.
The Cromer crew escorted the yacht to Yarmouth, then returned home at 10.30am.
