Lifeboat crews leapt into action after reports of a dinghy drifting off the north Norfolk coast this evening.
But the 6.40pm call turned out to be a false alarm - with Hunstanton lifeboatmen finding that the 'dinghy' in question was actually a marker buoy.
The Hunstanton coastguard team was also involved, and the incident was resolved within an hour.
