A major route near Norwich has reopened after people were injured in a collision.

A lane was blocked eastbound on the Norwich Northern Distributor Road (NDR) following an accident approaching the Wroxham Road (A1151) junction.

Police closed one lane on the A1270, also known as the Broadland Northway, following the incident, which involved two vehicles, earlier this morning (Monday, August 12).

A Norfolk police spokeswoman said: "Police were called at 6.43am to the A1270 between North Walsham Road and Wroxham Road roundabout after reports of a two vehicle road traffic collision between a Corsa and a Suzuki."

She added: "Minor injuries were reported and the road is now clear."
