A dog has been rescued after it got swept away in fast-flowing water.
The black labrador had been swimming in the water near Bollard Quay in Southtown Road, Yarmouth.
However, the pet became caught in the tide and was swept down the river.
The owner alerted the authorities and Yarmouth Coastguard contacted the harbour to ask for assistance.
Harbour personnel who were out in a boat picked up the animal and reunited it with its owner.
The rescue happened at 1.30pm today.
