A kite surfer was rescued by a lifeboat crew after getting into difficulties off Old Hunstanton.
Hunstanton RNLI spokesman Geoff Needham said: 'We were requested by the UK Coastguard, yesterday at 12.36pm, to launch the lifeboat to help a kite surfer in trouble off Old Hunstanton.
'Hunstanton volunteer RNLI crew launched on service, and made good speed to the casualty, and recovered him and his kite.
'He thanked the crew for their quick response. He said he was unable to get his kite airborne, and the wind and tide were taking him out to sea.'
