A cyclist suffered a broken hip when he was involved in a hit and run collision with a lorry.

Police say the incident happened on the busy A149 Queen Elizabeth Hospital roundabout, on the outskirts of King’s Lynn, at approximately 11.40am on Thursday, November 16.

The driver of the red and white articulated lorry which was involved failed to stop at the scene and continued on its way.

The male cyclist was taken to the nearby Queen Elizabeth Hospital with a broken hip.

Anyone who may have witnessed the collision, or may have taken dash cam footage in the area at the time of the incident, should contact PC Dave Allen at Swaffham roads policing on 101.
