The jury hearing the trial of two men accused of being involved in an attack on another man, who was slashed in the face and neck, have been sent home for the night and are due to continue with their deliberations tomorrow.
Kamal Hajizada, 25, of no fixed address, and Luqman Ali, 22, of York Road, Great Yarmouth, are on trial at Norwich Crown Court charged with wounding with intent.
The trial has heard how the victim, a man in his early 30s, received slash wounds, which came within a centimetre of the artery in his neck, during the attack on Riverside Road, in Norwich, on April 18, this year.
Both men have denied the charges and the jury has heard that a third man, Salah Hadi, who is alleged to have also been involved in the attack, has disappeared and remains wanted by the police.
