Jurorshave been sent home for the night in the trial of a manaccused of the murder of a 40 year-old man who was kicked to death outside a pub.
Ian Church suffered a fatal brain injury after he was attacked by a group of people outside the Bricklayers Arms in Great Yarmouth on May 5, 2012.
Norwich Crown Court heard that three people have already been convicted of the murder of Mr Church and now a fourth person Stuart Layden, 33, from Harlow, Essex, has been on trial for his alleged involvement.
He has denied murder.
Judge Stephen Holt sent the jury home after they had been been out for nearly five hours and jurors will continue with their deliberations tomorrow.
