A SWEET chestnut tree has been planted in Reydon to commemorate the Queen's Diamond Jubilee.
Residents, councillors and representatives from Hopkins Homes joined chairman of Reydon Parish Council, Barrie Remblance, as he planted the young chestnut tree on the village green at the Hopkins Homes development.
The green will be renamed Jubilee Green next year.
Lee Barnard, of Hopkins Homes, said that the company was delighted to be providing a space for the local community.
