Commuters saw delays on Ipswich Road at Newton Flotman this morning after it was blocked in both directions as a lorry jackknifed in the road and became stuck.
There were heavy delays in the area between the Church Road junction and the Tasburgh Road junction.
First Norwich buses were unable to serve Long Stratton because of the blockage.
Police are were directing traffic and a heavy recovery team has now cleared the road.
