Two shops on Mere Street in Diss have been targeted by thieves.
A money tin, containing an unknown amount of cash, was taken from WHSmith at 5.35am on Saturday, January 2.
And on Tuesday, January 5 at 5.30am, a suspect or suspects smashed glass on the front door of McColl's newsagents and stole cigarettes.
Police are not linking the two incidents.
Anyone with information is asked to call police on 101.
