An inspiring care worker is in the running for a special award.
Emma-Jayne Wilson, from at-home care company Home Instead Senior Care, has been shortlisted as a finalist in the Motivational Leader category of the 2017 Norfolk Care Awards.
Ms Wilson, 39, who lives in Earlham, was promoted to caregiver training and support lead last year after previously working as a caregiver. She provides unwavering support to her colleagues and, among other things, she has championed Home Instead's staff and client survey for which she created a superhero theme to encourage staff to participate.
Chris Carter, owner of Home Instead in Norwich, said: 'Emma has a talent and passion for motivating everyone around her. 'Through organising events and mentoring new and existing caregivers she has created a strong sense of community here at Home Instead.'
