An inquest into the death of a 13-year-old girl believed to have taken he own life was opened in Norwich today.
Mariana Stocks, known at school as Mariana Mitchell, was found by her mother Joanna at their home on Melton Street in Melton Constable on Wednesday <16th>.
A post mortem later revealed the cause of death was hanging.
Tributes have been paid to the Reepham High School pupil who had been due to receive a glowing school report.
The school's principal Chris Hassell said that whole school was in grief and shock after the pupils were informed of the death.
Remembrance rooms and a book of remembrance have been set up at the school, and experts have been brought in to help pupils through their grief.
Greater Norfolk Coroner William Armstrong adjourned the inquest to a date to be decided.
