An inquest has been opened today into the death of a woman found dead in suspicious circumstances at her home in Norwich.
The inquest heard Polish-born Magdalena Januszeska, 34, was found at her address in Copenhagen Way, near Aylsham Road, on January 25.
Police were called and attended just after 2pm. A murder investigation was launched.
The inquest heard that Dr Benjamin Swift, who carried out a post-mortem examination, was unable to give an opinion on the cause of her death but there were clear indications she had been the victim of an assault.
Norfolk coroner William Armstrong adjourned the inquest pending the outcome of any criminal proceedings.
A 21 year-old-man, Aaron O'Brien, of the same address has been charged with the murder of Ms Januszeska. He appeared before Norwich magistrates on January 28 and was remanded in custody.
