Hunstanton Lifeboat was launched this afternoon to reports of a kite surfer in trouble.
They found the man suffering from exhaustion and hypothermia, after drifting south with the tide to Heacham.
An RNLI spokesman said the casualty was a 26-year-old man from the Wisbech area, who was treated onshore by an ambulance crew while the lifeboat recovered his kite.
