The Hunstanton coastguard were called out on Tuesday evening to reports of two teenage girls in difficulty.
The crew were called around 6pm after the 13-year-old girls were last seen playing near the water's edge with their inflatable.
On arrival the two girls were quickly located walking back up on the beach and they were passed over to the police who took them back to their parents.
Meanwhile at 6.30pm several people were reported to be cut off on the sandbanks near Hunstanton.
Seven were found swimming to the shore and a second group of five people were discovered making their way to shore and given safety advice.
