An inquest has heard that a Hungarian woman who died in Trowse was frightened she may have to leave the country after Brexit.
The inquest into the death of Agnes Bartos, who lived at Southwell Road in Norwich, was held at Norfolk Coroner's Court in Norwich on Monday morning.
Miss Bartos, 52, was found hanged in woodland near Whitlingham Lane on March 1 this year.
The inquest heard that Miss Bartos, a volunteer with the Norfolk and Norwich Association for the Blind (NNAB), felt 'worried she may have to leave the country because of Brexit' in the weeks leading up to her death and had received a letter with an offer of help to get her back into work.
Area coroner Yvonne Blake said the mother was 'extremely fearful of officialdom', and the letter may have frightened her.
Though no suspicious circumstances were found, the coroner said she would not record a conclusion of suicide.
She added: 'I'm content she knew [her actions] would end her life, but I'm not content she thought that while in a rational frame of mind.'
