Despite a delay to the start due to the icy conductions on the roads, more than 600 people participated in the Wymondham Athletics Club New Years Day 10k.
The popular annual race, which takes its runners on a route through the town, had 665 finishers.
Michael Eccles, who runs for Norfolk Gazelles, was the overall male winner with a time of 31 minutes 46 seconds and Colleen Mukuya, who runs for Great Yarmouth District Athletics Club, was the overall female winner with a time of 38 minutes 20 seconds.
Andrew Lane, race director, said: 'It went really well and the conditions were perfect for running. The numbers were about the same as last year. It's the traditional first race of the year.'
