Householders in the Wymondham area are being warned to expect changes to their postal deliveries.

Officials at Royal Mail said that from this week postal staff would be adopting revised delivery routes and using new delivery equipment in the NR9, NR16 and NR18 postcode areas.

A spokesman for Royal Mail said that postmen and women would be delivering the mail for a longer period during the day. However, many customers in the Wymondham area will continue to get their mail by lunchtime. The spokesman added that they were writing to every address effected by the changes and local elected representatives and business groups were also being informed.

Darren Marsh, Royal Mail's delivery sector manager, said: 'We are proud of the high regard in which our postmen and women are held in Wymondham. The local delivery team and I are fully committed to providing a high quality of service that is as reliable and friendly as customers have come to expect from Royal Mail over many years.'
