House fire in Norwich

Firefighters were called to a fire at a home in Norwich.

The incident happened at about 3pm today at a house in Fallowfield Close, in the Plumstead Road area in the north of the city,

Three fire crews - one from Sprowston and two from Norwich - attended the scene.

The fire was put out just before 4.15pm.

The last fire engine returned to its base just before 5pm.

An ambulance was called to the scene as a precaution but nobody required medical treatment.
