A major route into Cromer is partially blocked following an accident on the A148, causing serious delays.
The Norfolk Constabulary have confirmed that two cars have collided on the Holt Road at Aylmerton, and are blocking the road with one lane remaining open.
The ambulance services are also at the scene, as a woman has suffered a head injury which is not believed to be serious.
Eyewitnesses have described that traffic is currently being diverted towards East Runton, after many others stuck in the jam have turned around and headed towards Sheringham.
The cars involved in the crash are an Audi and a Vauxhall.
