A man has been airlifted to hospital after a hit-and-run in Spixworth.
Police were called to Ivy Road, at the junction with Buxton Road, by the ambulance service at 9.25am after a van hit a male pedestrian.
The man suffered a leg injury and was airlifted to the Norfolk and Norwich University Hospital. His injuries are not thought to be life threatening. Police are trying to trace the driver of the van who failed to stop at the scene of the incident. The vehicle, which is described as a light blue transit style van, was seen heading towards Norwich and it's believed it may have some damage to the windscreen.
