More than 1,000 homes in Hethersett were hit by a power cut earlier today.
The majority of the 1,082 homes affected were reconnected within two hours of the high-voltage cable fault at 12.35pm, as UK Power Networks rerouted the power.
A further 31 customers were connected at 3.36pm, and 35 at 3.47pm, but two homes were left without power until 5.33pm – nearly five hours after the original fault.
A spokesman for UK Power Networks said: 'We appreciate how difficult it is to be without electricity and apologise to all those affected.'
