New interim directors are set to be drafted into the East of England Ambulance Service following the resignation of all five of its non-executive directors.
Vice chairman Paul Remington, Phil Barlow, Anne Osborn, Margaret Stockham and Caroline Bailes announced their resignations last month following a damning report into the management of the NHS trust. It comes after Geoff Harris became the new interim chairman of the trust following the resignation of Maria Ball.
A spokesman for the NHS Trust Development Authority, said: 'The recruitment process for appointing non-executive directors is being managed by the NHS TDA, and we are working with the trust to identify interim support arrangements for the board while this process is underway. We hope to secure the availability of suitable candidates as soon as possible.'
